SeriesGuide is an Android app that helps you keep track of your favorite TV shows and movies. It replaces the spreadsheet or the memory you were relying on to know which episode comes next, without making your viewing history the property of a service you cannot leave.

Show, episode, and movie data comes from the TMDb API. Episodes are checked in, set watched, added to a collection, or skipped as you go, and shows you stopped following can be hidden rather than removed. Both the app language and each show's language can be set, with translations handled through Crowdin.

Several features cover the parts of tracking that get tedious.

• Trakt integration: connect an account, add shows from your Trakt library, and sync watched state and check-ins.
• SeriesGuide Cloud: back up and sync your data through the developer's own service.
• File export and import: move your data out as files, or restore it from an automatic backup.
• Notifications and widget: get told when an episode is due and see what is coming on the home screen.
• Extensions API: third-party extensions add an action button to episode and movie screens, linking out or triggering an action elsewhere.

The app is on Google Play, on the Amazon Appstore for Kindle devices, and directly from GitHub or Obtainium, with a preview program and legacy builds for Android 5 and older. Unlocking all features takes a subscription or a one-time SeriesGuide Pass purchase. It is GPL-3.0 or later, with parts including the API library under Apache 2.0.
