Tonkatsu Box

Anyone who plays, watches and reads across several hobbies ends up with a list in every service and no single view of any of it. Tonkatsu Box is a free app that keeps games, movies, TV shows, anime, visual novels, manga, books, music and podcasts in one library.

Fifteen catalogs sit behind a single search field, among them IGDB, TMDB, TVmaze, AniList, MangaDex, OpenLibrary, MusicBrainz and Podcast Index, each with its own filters. The app is written in Flutter and ships for Windows, Linux, macOS and Android, with the whole interface localized and switchable without a restart.

Tracking goes well past a watched flag.

• Progress: status, ratings, start and finish dates, replays, time spent, pages for books and chapters for manga.
• Episode tracker: a season accordion with stills, air dates and synopses, marking one episode, a season or the next unwatched.
• Statistics: counters, per type breakdowns, a month by month ribbon and a shareable summary card.
• Visual boards: a drag and drop canvas plus tier lists and mood grids, each exportable as an image.
• Import: Simkl, Steam, Trakt, Kinorium, RetroAchievements, MyAnimeList, AniList and Hardcover, plus your own JSON or CSV.
• Profiles: several people share one install with separate collections, boards and covers.

Data stays on the device, with export files, device to device sync and one click backups. The project is under active development and an update can migrate the database, so the maintainers ask for a backup before upgrading. Linux and macOS builds are marked experimental.
