Ryot

Ryot, short for Roll Your Own Tracker, records what you consume and what you do. Books read, shows watched, games played and workouts finished all land in one self-hosted interface with statistics, instead of being scattered across half a dozen services that each own a slice.

The server is written in Rust and stores its data in PostgreSQL. A GraphQL API is exposed for custom integrations, and the web interface is a progressive web app, so it behaves like a native app once installed on a phone.

Tracking splits into two halves that share one account.

• Media: movies, TV, anime, manga, books, audiobooks, podcasts, music and video games are all first-class.
• Imports: existing histories come across from Goodreads, Trakt, MyAnimeList and Audiobookshelf among others.
• Automatic tracking: integrations with Jellyfin, Plex, Kodi and Emby log what you watch without manual entry.
• Fitness: workouts are logged against an exercise database, with body measurements and progress graphs over time.
• Notifications: updates arrive through Discord, Ntfy or Apprise.

Authentication supports OpenID Connect for anyone plugging it into an existing identity provider. Getting started means a Docker Compose file with a Postgres container, the Ryot image and an admin access token, after which the interface answers on port 8000. A live demo that resets daily is available if you want to look before installing. A paid Pro version adds profile sharing, recommendations and collection features atop the GPLv3 core.
