Postiz schedules social media posts across accounts and gives a team one place to plan them. It positions itself against Buffer, Hypefury and similar hosted schedulers, with the difference that the self-hosted version currently holds nothing back from the hosted one.

The stack is a pnpm monorepo with Next.js on the front, NestJS behind it, Prisma over PostgreSQL by default, Temporal driving scheduled work and Resend for email notifications.

What you get once it is running is fairly direct.

• Scheduling: queue posts for X, Bluesky, Mastodon, Discord and other platforms, with AI assistance in several places.
• Analytics: measure how published work actually performed.
• Team collaboration: invite members to comment, schedule and exchange posts.
• Automation: a public API, a NodeJS SDK, a custom N8N node, a Make.com integration and an agent CLI.
• Compliance: authentication runs through official platform OAuth flows, and the product never collects, stores or proxies user API keys.

A quick start guide in the documentation covers bringing the project up. Nothing is scraped or automated against a platform's wishes, since users authenticate directly with each service. For anyone running scheduling as one step in a wider automation chain, the API and the N8N, Make.com and Zapier paths matter more than the interface itself.
