Paymenter
Open-source billing platform for hosting companies, automating subscriptions and service management for providers and their customers without vendor lock-in.

Paymenter is a billing platform written specifically for hosting companies. It automates subscriptions and manages hosting services on both sides of the relationship, for the provider running the panel and for the customer buying from it, without vendor lock-in or costs that appear later.
Requirements stay conventional for a PHP application. It expects PHP 8.3 or newer, Composer, a web server such as Apache or Nginx, and a MariaDB database, so anyone already running a standard hosting stack has most of it in place. Installation and configuration are documented step by step, and a live demo runs before you commit to anything.
The project describes its priorities plainly.
- Interface: built for simplicity, so customers of any technical level can find their way around.
- Admin panel: the operational side, aimed at cutting the overhead of running a hosting business day to day.
- Extensibility: an architecture open to modification and integration with other tools, with a marketplace of extensions alongside it.
- Security: treated as a priority for stored data and for transactions.
- Community: hosting providers and developers drive development in the open, with a Discord for support.
Paymenter is available under the MIT license, which matters for a business whose billing rules rarely match anyone else's and who will therefore end up changing something. Development is funded partly through sponsors, and the roadmap is shaped by the providers actually running it.
