Families and friends can share live location here without handing it to a server that reads it. Paralino streams continuous updates between phones and tablets, and location data is end to end encrypted, never leaving a device in plain text, so only your own group can decrypt it.

Sharing is deliberately granular. Private groups keep family and friends in separate social contexts, while a personal space holds your own devices, trips and history for nobody else to see. You decide what actually leaves your phone.

  • Sharing rules: choose what, when and with whom, down to hiding battery level or speed.
  • Privacy zones: map areas that switch you to approximate location automatically.
  • Place alerts: geofences that notify a group when someone arrives at or leaves a place.
  • Battery profiles: pick how hard the app is allowed to work in the background.

Alerts also cover low battery, group joins and sharing changes, and the map itself reports speed, elevation, battery level and signal strength in real time.

A de-googled Android build ships as a direct APK with no Google services, using MapLibre for maps, UnifiedPush or direct WebSockets for notifications, and the AOSP location manager for tracking. The signing certificate hash is published so you can verify the download yourself.

The code is Kotlin Multiplatform, with Compose Multiplatform sharing most of the interface between Android and iOS. Hosting is in the European Union, with no ads, no tracking and no data selling.
