LyteNyte Grid

Building a data grid that stays fast as rows pile up costs months of engineering time that belongs in the rest of your application. LyteNyte Grid, from 1771 Technologies, exists to take that work off the table, shipping a React grid that drops into an app in minutes and holds its own performance budget.

The grid is stateless and prop-driven, so you configure it declaratively from URL params, server state, or any external store rather than syncing a second copy of the truth. It weighs about 40 KB gzipped, carries no wrappers or dependencies, and the whole API is type-safe.

Two packages are published, Core and PRO, and the feature set spans the work most teams eventually need.

• Virtualization: row and column virtualization renders millions of rows and absorbs up to 10,000 updates per second.
• Data operations: server-side data loading, infinite scrolling, pivoting, tree views, filtering, row grouping, and cell editing.
• Theming: run it headless for full control, or take the prebuilt themes with Tailwind, CSS modules, or CSS-in-JS.
• API extensions: add your own props and methods to both the grid API and column definitions.
• AI skills: structured context files teach Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and other agents how to write grid code correctly.

Install either package from npm. PRO runs without a license key but displays a watermark until one is added, which makes it easy to evaluate the paid tier before committing to it. React Compiler is supported, and controlled or uncontrolled state both work.
