LinkStack

LinkStack is an open source alternative to Linktree, aimed squarely at a limitation everyone has met: social platforms allow one link in a profile, and a LinkStack page turns that one link into all of them.

What separates it from a commercial service is where it runs. LinkStack sits on your own web server or hosting provider, which keeps the data yours, and the maintainers state plainly that they will never sell user data. Installation is a drag and drop affair, download the latest release, place the folder in the root directory of your site, then walk through a setup page the first time you open it. No terminal commands and no editing source code.

What the platform gives you once it is running.

• Multi-user: other people can register and build their own pages, which suits businesses and organizations managing many links at once.
• Admin panel: one interface for managing users and reaching their links.
• Themes: custom themes change the look of a page without touching code.
• Docker: a companion repository packages a container version for anyone who prefers one.
• Community instances: volunteers host free public instances for people who cannot or would rather not self-host.

The project publishes an updating guide, a documented fork structure and a Discord community for support, and it is funded through GitHub sponsors, Patreon and Liberapay rather than through the data of the people using it.
